Club Penguin Newspaper: Issue #199

Hello penguins,

The new newspaper is out with many surprises in it! Here is the information on it:

Aqua won the color competition! Congrats for all of you who wanted the aqua color!

The next Friday we will have a Festival of Flight because Gary wanted us to help him to solve the problem of the under ground pool windows, so he decided to lift up Clubpenguin up into the clouds!

Take your puffles to places! On DJK3 you can use the yellow puffle to win bonus coins! On surfing you can use the red puffle to surf with you! On Aqua Grabber you can use the pink puffle! And on Dance contest you can use the purple puffle!

We are gonna have a Under Water Party from August 21- September 10!

Music Jam a hit! (Finalists under!)

Hello Penguins!

It's been great to hear how much you loved the Music Jam. We saw tons of awesome bands, and you guys have been really creative all over the island with the music party stuff. A lot of you told us that you liked being able to hear your instruments at the Lighthouse stage. Since we heard from so many of you, we're going to make that a permanent thing. The team is working so that in about a week, anytime you play at the Lighthouse stage with certain instruments, you'll be able to hear them! Let us know what you think.

Even though the Music Jam is officially done, some of the party music will be available in your igloos this Friday. To get ready for the new tracks, check out the latest Better Igloos catalog (it came out just over a week ago), and then decorate with some music items to keep your own party going!

Screenhog on Music Jam! (Contest 2 posts under!)

Hey everyone,

Here's a quick list of some of the things we don't want you to miss at the party:

-If you have an instrument, then you should go to the Lighthouse stage! If you play your drums, tuba, trombone, or any guitar, you can actually hear what you're playing. Just wear the instrument (only the instrument and no other items) and dance!

-The Underground Cave has a floor piano! Step on a key. Oh, and the switch on the wall lets you hear other penguins!

-There are musical icicles in the Mine. Mouse over them!
Battle of the Bands at the Snow Forts! The stages are connected to a meter and the one with the most penguins wins!

-The Music Maker 3000 is back! Last year it was in the Dojo but this time it's near the Snow Forts. Bring some friends and play giant musical instruments.

Keep checking out the big stage at the Dock as it plays music from all of the other stages. (It's also the entrance to the Backstage.)

We hope you're having a lot of fun. Let us know your favorite things at the party!

Meeting the Penguin Band (Tracker)

Hello penguins,

As you know, here at the Music Jam, we can be able to meet the Penguin Band so I decided to show you that how do they look...

I interacted the most with G-Billy! He is totally Awesome and here are somefacts about him..

He has over 50 pins.
If he wasn't a musician, he'd still be working as a chef in the Pizza Parlor.
He is most often seen during Parties.
He is a Level 5 Member.
He is one of the only penguins to wear the old blue color. (other penguins are: some penguins in the newspaper, two penguins at the bottom of the sled race,and Gary.) Although, he doesn't wear it all the time.
He is the only penguin to use an instrument that was sold in the Music Jam catalog back stage (Although the drum sticks aren't an instrument themselves, they were still for sale in the music catalog).

Music Jam Cheats!

As you all know, Music Jam is already here, and has brought for us many amazing items! As you know in Club Penguin is sometimes difficult to find things so here is how to get and unlock everything on the Music Jam..

1.For the New pin, Go to the Boiler Room (Umbrella pin)

2. To get amazing new clothes and the backstage VIP pass, go to the snow fort's little shop.

4. For the new instruments, go to the backstage with the pass ( Only For Members)

*Click the I of musIc to get the drum and the drum sticks.

5. There is a new Upgrade Igloos catalog, check it out!

6. There is new Better Igloos catalog with cool dj stuff!

*Click on the dj table to get the speakers!

Those are all the cheats, but the party is awesome!

It's almost here! The Music Jam kicks off tomorrow and there were lots of cool answers to last week's question about how you guys are getting ready for it. Here's one we liked from Otter's Rule:

Me and my friends are all getting ready for the Music Jam Party already. We've got all of our instruments gathered up and have already started practicing! We have these rockin' cool outfits too. I think this Music Jam will be the biggest party on Club Penguin yet! We've also planned to meet the Penguin Band backstage. We can hardly wait for this rockin' cool party! Waddle On!
